Still not better.

Sorry, guys. I really was hoping that I would feel better today, but the fever is still here among other ailments. So, today is day 2 of your research in the media center. There probably is a decade book or two that you could grab for helpful information as well as the links at the top of this page. If you already finished your worksheet from yesterday, move on to some solid research on the place of your birth. I am sending a copy of an example to my sub to share with you. Notice how I cited my sources and how I organized my 2 paragraphs.

Most cities have websites these days with helpful historic information. If you were born in a really small town, research things near it. What was the closest big city? Have fun!

So, today was to be your first research day in the library. I am still going to have the sub take you to the media center computer lab to begin since we only have 3 computer days total for this assignment.

Today, you are a fact gatherer. I want you to get a general idea about the year you were born as well as the place. You will find helpful links off of the SOPHOMORE RESEARCH RESOURCES button just above this post. BE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF WHERE (what website page) YOU GOT EACH FACT IN YOUR NOTES! YOU WILL NEED THIS FOR YOUR WORKS CITED PAGE.
